Cat Station Stamps takes place in the fictional station of Matatabi, somewhere in rural Japan.

Enjoy all the typical things you can find in a Japanese train station, including… seasonal scenery! The first season we are working on is autumn.

Our game was inspired by the real-life story of Station Master Tama, a calico cat whose popularity saved Kishi station in Wakayama prefecture from closure.

Disclaimer: We have no official link to the railway, but we found that this story was really cool.

We are finalizing a first prototype in August 2026, and we’re planning to share the first demo in September.
